Oscar Castañeda was born and raised in Guatemala, where he experienced hardship from an early age. In search of better opportunities, he immigrated to the United States, where he worked tirelessly in restaurants, factories, and delivery companies while navigating discrimination, cultural barriers, and personal struggles. Despite facing wrongful imprisonment, exploitation, and betrayal, he never lost his determination to build a better life. Writing this book was a lifelong dream for him—an opportunity to share his truth, inspire others facing similar challenges, and give back to the community.
